My thoughts on the corona virus are probably the same as any other teenager right now in the United States. It is a virus, that we need to contain and if we don’t it will become worse. We need to be careful regardless and stay healthy. If I suspected myself to have the virus, I’d get help from medical professionals as soon as possible.

These are both undoubtedly powerful women – Melania Trump, our current first lady and our previous first lady, Michelle Obama. Once their husband’s were elected, they both had to provide a speech at their respective parties national convention. The purpose of these speeches are to speak about what their missions are and their views are on our country and how they will implement ideas to help bring our country to envision the ideal “American Dream” aspect. Of course, their speeches were impeccably similar. The reoccurring same family values and protecting our youth are usually their pinpoints.

The differences is that Melania brings up her husband more than Michelle. She brings up alot about representation and reassurance that he will do great for his country. This is something that Michelle hardly – if not at all did. Michelle believed and stated that we worked together in unity as a country to elect Obama therefore we already know he will do our country justice. Melania did not take that approach and rather every five minutes, had to remind us that Donald is gonna do great and we should believe her. This itself can tell how different and depending these leading ladies are.

Someone that is legendary to me personally is my grandma. She passed away two years ago and basically raised me into the person I am today. Her legacy still lives on throughout my family and she will forever be known as the strongest woman I have ever known. I can only wish to be as amazing and caring as she was and I hope she can see how proud not only myself but my family was and still is of her. She built my family up from nothing and no one could possibly mean the world to me more than her. Her passing was undoubtedly the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through and I still deal with that pain sometimes today.

As a child, naive-ness is an instinct. I mean, how could you know any better when you’re exposed to so little. For the children in Libya, they are faced with this crisis every single day, and it’s so serious that it could cost them their lives. If I was in the situation I would definitely feel helpless. With little to no resources and no form of unity in rebellion, you truly feel alone out there which means, even if you wanted to make a change or try to make things better, the chances of it being successfully executed are slim to none. In reality, I would just try to survive day by day, help form a rebellion against the government or whomever is opposing the communities and there is power in numbers, so build to make a better rebellion alliance, and just fight to survive.

I have chosen the topic ‘Does Climate Change Affect our Society?’ Within the given years or so, the action of Climate Change has raised eyebrows of suspicion, even today people are completely off the fence to the idea of Climate Change. The reason this idea is so intriguing to me is because a number of our population does truly believe the effects of Climate Change is not human wrongdoing therefore it is a natural phenomena we cannot change and with that, it wont hurt our civilization. This paper is to inform my intended audience which is preferably the adult and younger generation on how we will directly be affected as a society not once our environment goes down, but now currently with the issues we are dealing with today such as the earthquakes, fires, melting ice, etc. Some questions I will have to research could possibly be:

• How will climate change affect our society now and later in the future?
• What are ways we can hinder the growth of Climate Change?
• How you can immediately change your ways to help the earth / how to become eco-friendly

I chose prompt #1, although I do not care who wins the Superbowl – I do have very strong feelings about spending a lot of money on a ticket. I don’t believe that spending that much money on the Superbowl is adequate. Just watch it on your TV, host a party, and have fun at home. It will be cheaper and hassle free. Why put a dent like that into your account and the experience isn’t what you want it to be? You truly dont know what will happen when you get there so why risk thousands of dollars for it regardless if you love the sport or not.

For this topic, I have chosen to analyze Mindy Kaling’s Instagram account. Mindy is by far one of my favorite actresses and comedians of all time. Her work on one of my favorite shows, ‘The Office’ has not gone unnoticed and she still continues to express her brand in various different ways, now along with entertainment, she has ventured into writing. Her Instagram platform is one she is most verbal on, as for the most used platform. Truly, her personality is reflected through her posts and that is the most ‘Mindy’ thing I could say about her. Mindy is unapologetically herself and raises awareness that she is a successful and has earned her spot in Hollywood through her talent and nothing more. That being said, it has attracted a lot of people to look up to her for these sole purposes of confidence and believing in yourself – even when others choose not to. Her audience, similar to myself are prodominatley South Asian women, finding peace in her branching out from the usual stigma and doing what she loves. All of these factors are best displayed through her Instagram feed. She mainly posts of her achievements, whether it be movie premieres or current projects she is planning or are starring in. She even goes to post past projects that were very, very successful. Such as ‘Oceans 8’, and many more. Aside from her girl boss posts, she cannot stray from her comedian roots, with hilarious meme posts, here and there. She is not afraid to share her life through a lens and it is very refreshing. Unlike other influencers, who mainly post brand deals to get their following to spend money or post ‘click-bait’ images to promote something just to raise their numbers, it is nice to see someone that I can comfortably relate to, be just as I’d hope. I appreciate her on Instagram because she truly does care about her audience, and is not afraid to let the world know. She is also a very affluent human being who is not ashamed nor does she feel entitled to all the fame she has rightfully worked so hard to obtain.

The color gray means many things to me and truly is it the most used color in my life, currently. All hues and tones that relate to the color grey spark interest in me. It is one of my favorite colors, because for me it’s hard to choose just one. Grey is a very monotone color, therefore it can match with any other color, you just have to find the right shade of grey to go with the color you just have to find the right shade of grey to compliment the other color. My entire room is painted grey and even the jacket I am wearing today is grey. The color makes me feel grounded and calm. It resembles peace, in a way. Colors like orange or yellow tend to give off ‘loud’ impressions but grey has an undertone that just instills calmness into the viewer. It may be taken as a ‘boring’ color, but I believe it is a strong, stable color. Grey also goes best with minimalist colors and decor. I enjoy the minimalist lifestyle and it’s decor. You can tell by how my room is set up, I get inspiration from various mood and art boards centered around the color grey and various accent colors that compliment it the most. I like to keep grey as a ‘centered’ color in my life, because it can hold its ground alone or with a mixture of other colors such as white, black, beige, cream tones, and golds or silvers. It offers a intricate touch of sophistication, and it is a great transition color to represent my shift into adulthood.
